Network Management Policy

Mainstream Fiber Networks, LLC (MSFN) is committed to providing an open and transparent Internet experience for all users. Our goal is to support the free flow of information and provide a reliable broadband service without unjust interference with lawful content or services. This policy outlines MSFN’s network management practices in compliance with FCC guidelines.

  1. No Blocking, Throttling, or Paid Prioritization

MSFN does not block, throttle, or otherwise prevent users from accessing lawful content, applications, services, or non-harmful devices. We do not engage in paid prioritization, nor do we favor certain types of traffic or classes of applications over others.

  1. Network Congestion Management

MSFN does not practice any form of congestion management. However, in extreme cases to ensure fair access, MSFN may implement measures to manage traffic during peak times, including limiting, throttling, or shaping data flow to ensure fair usage among all users.

  1. Network Transparency

MSFN does not monitor the content of network traffic under normal circumstances. While we reserve the right to remove illegal material or content that may expose MSFN to liability, we support the free flow of ideas and do not exercise editorial control over content accessed or created via our services.

  1. Device and Application Usage

We impose no restrictions on the types of devices connected to the network, provided they comply with applicable legal standards and do not harm or disrupt the network or other users. MSFN does not rate-control specific protocols, modify protocol fields outside of standard practices, or restrict access to specific applications.

  1. Unauthorized Use and Security

MSFN takes network security seriously. Unauthorized access to our services or attempts to penetrate security measures of MSFN or any third-party system is strictly prohibited. We work to ensure that our subscribers' networks are secure, but it remains the responsibility of each subscriber to maintain the security of their own devices and network.

  1. Legal Cooperation

MSFN may cooperate with legal authorities or third parties in the investigation of any alleged illegal activity or civil wrongdoing. We reserve the right to remove or block access to content deemed illegal or harmful to protect both MSFN and its users.

  1. Modifications to this Policy

MSFN reserves the right to modify or update this Network Management Policy as necessary to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our services. Any such changes will be made publicly available on our website.
