We Expand Based on Interest

While we have our own plans for expanding our networks, we also listen to residents who are interested in our fiber and regularly build to additional communities and neighborhoods based on interest. If you're interested in bringing Mainstream Fiber Networks to your community, the best way is to show your interest. Getting connected is just a simple 4 steps away.

1

Show Your Interest

The Most Important Step

We don't know you're interested, unless you let us know. The easiest way to let us know is by completing the form below. This shows us your interest and your location, so we can start working on building out to you!

2

Tell Your Neighbors

Spread the News

The more people interested in service in an area, the faster we will start building in an area. Make sure your neighbors know about Mainstream, and have them take the interest survey, and encourage them to spread the word as well!

3

Engineer and Build

Our Team Handles it from Here

Once enough interest has been generated in your neighborhood, our engineering team will begin planning out the best method for our fiber network to reach you. After the planning phase, you'll see our construction trucks in the area as they build to you and your neighbors.

4

Fiber is Available

Enjoy Your Connection

Once the construction is finished, you and your neighbors are able to sign up for fast, reliable, fiber optic internet from Mainstream.

Our Story

  • Founded in 2006 by Bryan Gabriel, Mainstream Fiber Networks began as an IT consulting company in Nashville, Indiana, and quickly evolved into a provider of high-speed internet for underserved rural communities. After seeing a need for fast-reliable fiber internet in the Brown County Schools. Mainstream decided as a company that they could provide a better experience for the school.

  • In 2012, the company launched its first major fiber-optic project, connecting Brown County Schools and expanding to homes and businesses. Without Mainstream's commitment to provide fiber internet to the school corporation it would be closed itself doors. That was not an option for Mainstream.

  • In 2015, Mainstream partnered with the Harrison County Community Foundation to create a 115-mile fiber optic loop, growing rapidly and reaching over 8,000 homes.

  • The company continued expanding, partnering with local leaders and Indiana’s “Next Level Connections” program to bring high-speed internet to more counties. With the help of Next Level Connections through Indiana funding, Mainstream has been able to complete projects quicker and more effectively. Providing fiber internet to customers faster and giving customers fiber internet they deserve.

  • Today, Mainstream serves 13 counties, committed to bridging the digital divide and delivering reliable internet to Indiana’s rural communities.
