Digital voice refers to the conversion of the analog voice signal at the telephone or fax machine into a digital signal for transmission over the digital network, using voice over IP (VoIP) technology. The signal is then converted back into an analog signal at the receiving end for use with a standard telephone.

A DID (Direct Inward Dialing) is a telephone number that allows direct access to a specific extension or telephone line within a company or organization. It enables incoming calls to be routed directly to an individual extension, or to any destination on the phone system.
A 911 location is the physical address associated with a telephone number, which is used by emergency services to determine the location of the caller in case of a 911 call.
