Leadership Harrison County Retreat 2019

Mainstream is always active in training our employees to take larger roles in our positions. Our company consistently uses training programs, workshops, and events so our employees can better themselves professionally. Last week our Regional Branch Associate, Jessica Adamson, attended the Leadership Harrison County Retreat to do just that.

Jessica was asked a few questions about Leadership Harrison County Retreat. She describes the importance of learning and practicing applicable leadership skills, as well as their personal experiences from the two-day event.

When asked about how the retreat went, Jessica said, “The event as a whole was awesome. We learned a lot about ‘people styles’ at work on the first day. We did a few group activities each day to build our skills.”

Jessica was also asked about her favorite parts of the retreat, saying, “my favorite part was the group activities and working together. I’m more of a hands-on type of individual. When we got to get up and do something, it really got my brain turning.”

Finally, when asked how the skills learned at the retreat will be applied to her position, Jessica replied, “since the event, I have been actively learning other coworkers’ work styles. I am learning how to work beside them in their category. I remind myself daily that working as a team and being a leader is always a work in progress.”

Thanks to Jessica for attending the retreat, and bringing her skills as a leader back to our company!

Mainstream also gives a special thanks Leadership Harrison County for hosting a special event to teach and practice leadership skills. Our team will continue to attend such essential events to better our skills as professionals.
